Line 58 worked with Lakeside Camera to evolve the name of the store and evolve the visual identity in a way that maintained the brand equity built up over years, while also pointing toward new and mind-bogglingly expanded capabilities. The challenge was to craft a visual identity impressive to professionals and serious amateurs that also communicated accessibility and playfulness to people who just wanted to enjoy a good picture of the family. Close collaboration with the project architect allowed Line 58 to seamlessly integrate graphic design and interior design, ensuring consistency for the new visual identity.

Photoworks' offerings go way beyond that of a typical camera store...
...and we worked to relay those offerings in the store environment in a variety of manners beyond the basic "menu".
A tagline meant to inspire.
Photoworks boasts its own capable graphic design services, and sometimes Line 58 would collaborate with them on various in-house projects--offering guidance in keeping Photoworks on-brand.
Lakeside Camera Photoworks' website (no longer in use) seamlessly integrates their wide array of services and products with an updated look. Additionally, Line 58 created an e-mail marketing system to inform their clientele of new services, sales, and seminars.
About the Client
Since 1972, this retailer has served as a center of New Orleans' photography community. Surveying the substantial damage inflicted on the original store after post-Katrina flooding, the owners saw an opportunity to reinvent the family business to be more in line with (or even a little ahead of) recent revolutions in the digital imaging industry.
